This course is great for a beginner cook, an experienced cook who wants to look like a trained chef or someone who wants to expand their cooking skills.
The first step to basic cooking skills is knife skills – it begins with sharpening knives and cutting vegetables properly (read, without cutting your fingers!). Brett and Camilla also show you how to segment an orange and how to prepare an avocado – just like the pros.
Now for the fun stuff…this course will also show you step by step, how to make restaurant quality pizza dough, chicken stock, meringue, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, omelettes and mayonnaise. These are all great beginner skills that can be used when cooking other dishes as well.
