Toshiko offers experience in Teaching and Training mainly in Japanese Studies. Since 1983, Toshiko has taught at schools and tertiary institutions throughout Sydney and Melbourne, including the University of Sydney and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and business groups of language services in Australia. She has also enjoyed teaching in the Corporate sector with companies like Sony, Sumitomo Chemical Australia and JALPAK in Sydney and Mitsui Trading Company in Melbourne.


Toshiko is a positive, effective, highly motivated, inspiring and personable teacher especially in Japanese language and culture. She has also worked as an interpreter and translator for many companies and institutions, and in market research for international tourism. Toshiko has excellent communication and rapport building skills in teaching international business people and students. Toshiko has an innate ability to liaise effectively verbally and in writing. Superior interpersonal skills with confidence in own her abilities. Skilled in the development of building and maintaining productive relationships with clients, colleagues and students.


Toshiko enjoys reading, academic study, physical exercises like body combat, movies and singing.  She has also taught Japanese flower arrangement and made decorations of flower arrangement at Japanese-styled hotels in Japan.
